Have had good sucess backing up using DVD Copy 2 in conjunction with DVD decryptor....(I'm leery about compression, will be getting a big screen soon, I favor 1-1... 1 movie 2 disks if necessary)...The only thing that bothers me about this arrangement is it breaks the movie abruptly when it's out of space...Is there anything out there that's easy to use that will let me break at a "place where a network would logically insert a commecrial/intermission"?
thanks

Have you tried making a graphic that says "And Now A Word From Our Sponsors..." that pops up when the disc ends?

DVD Shrink can split the disks easily using the re-author feature. When previewing the movie, simply select where you want the break to be. You can split it at chapter stops (easy) or choose practically any frame you'd like. There's even little clips available from DVD Shrink's site that say "Please insert disc 2". You can download & insert them into your movies as you see fit.
