i think she deserves some kind of punishment, you've got to be pretty dumb to think deals like that are legit.

Didn't she do at least some basic research on the company after they said they would hire her? Thinking that it was legit is pretty ignorant. And ignorance has never been a good defense in court.

try being unemployed for a year, and most jobs would start looking pretty good. Hard to be objective when you're trying to survive!
