I don't want to delve to deep into the "How to's" for such an undertaking but...
My theory is, to take the Director's cut of Blade Runner and merge the voice over sound bites into the audio track.
1. Main video
2. Main audio from the Dir Cut
3. Overlaying the clips onto the main audio.
hmm...
Again, I don't want to hear about the How to's. Just if it sounds possible.
I will most likely move this disscusion over the Advanced conversion? If needed.

Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

Yes, you can do it - but it will take some effort on your part.
1) - Demux the vob files from the main movie into video and audio.
2) - Demux the vob files from the director's cut into video and audio.
3) - Load the 2 audio files into an Audio editor and mix them, making sure the final length (time) is the same as the main movie audio.
4) - Remux the new audio with the main movie.
