I'm suprised by the amount of dry counties out there. Maybe thats why I wouldn't live in the south

During trainina for a previous job I spent 6 straight weeks in Irving Texas, a dry town. We had to make beer runs into Dallas and fill the trunk for the coming week

I find that penetration is much more comfortable if she is wet. When the object of my desires is suffering from "feminine dryness", I find that Astroglide in moderation will do wonders. Just remember, as with Brylcreem -- a little dab will do ya !!

My brother lived in Alabama at one point, may be some dry counties there but he lived in one that was wet. Siad he would be going to work around 7 in the morning and the rednecks would just be coming out of the bar.

Guess that's odd for us Pennsylvanians, last call is at 2 a.m. and you have to be out by 2:30. Can't buy liquor on Sunday and can't buy beer on Sunday until 12 noon and then the only place is from a place that serves food. No beer in the supermarkets either.

All beer over a 12 pack has to be purchased from a distibutor during the week, ahhhh beer heaven. Halfs and quarters are readily available though....

But here in Ohio we have "drive throughs", which is basically a garage lined with coolers. You drive your car in, buy your beer or other spirits, tobacco, pay for it and drive away. You can buy singles in 12 oz, 16 oz, 24 oz, 40 oz cans or bottles. 6 packs, 12 packs, 24 packs and 30 packs.

Whiskey and other hard liquors have to be purchased at a State Store but the only thing we have to go to the distributor for is a Keg.

That is so wrong on so many levels.

How in the world can you stop and get a 24oz for the drive home? Or a couple of 40 oz's until you get to the party?

Indiana is alcohol limiting like that too. I don't know about quantity wise, but they do not sell beer in gas stations or super markets, and they don't have drive throughs (they call them "beer barns") but they have a state store on just about every corner

Many of our local bars are the same way. We get a last call at 2:15 am, bar closes at 2:45 (suppose to be 2:30). But if you know people, you can stay until the light of day. Some bars in our area open at 5:30 am (that is after work for 3rd shift workers ) I worked 3rd shift for 5 years, probably why it doesn't bother me to drink beer at anytime of the day.

Your state needs to get it's shit together...in the words of Homer Simpson "alcohol, the cause and solution to all of lifes problems."

You can at bars and some restaraunts like pizza places but only between the hours of 7 a.m (i think) and 2 a.m. except sunday when you have to wait until 12 noon. Some convenient stores skirt the law by having two entrances one for the store and one for the beer, kinda comical . Beer by the case can only be bought M-Sat no sunday sales most are open 9 to 9.

It's not like we don't get are share of beer, my area has one of the highest drinking rates per capita in the nation. There was joke about where my family is from and is nearly true today, every block had a bar, church and a funeral home. The churches and funeral homes are disaappering . Some blocks there are 2 or 3 bars on main st. Town of about 10,000 and I bet there is 60 to 100 establishments you can purchase beer. There's one spot that has 3 consecutive bars. Guess it's one of the legacies of the miners that made up most of the town. They were either in the mines, a bar, church or the funeral home

Yep if you like bar hopping welcome to Disneyland, take you all week to see it all You can start 7 or 8 in the morning with all the old timers. Then walk over to one of the 7 or 8 pizza places (best pizza in the world here by the way, they opened a pizza hut and it went belly up.) and have a beer with your pizza. Then off to the one bar that has 8 bar stools which has to be the smallest bar in the world, it getys crowded with 10 people. Then down to the main attraction main street......

A long time ago I used to work graveyard at a 711 store and was amazed at what people would offer for a 6-pack of beer after 2am!!!! I could get a blow job for a single 12 ounce can!

Umm yes you can.... They just need another license, some do and some don't. It just depends where you go.

I found it funny that in upstate NY, the dry towns and counties do not consider beers, like they do other liquors, as a wet beverage. So you can easily get beer at most pubs, bars, and hometown restaurants. Some places can even get special permits to serve wines. Grocery stores will even sell wine and beer. Nothing else though. Gotta go to another city or county to get anything hard.
