    Hi,

I just downloaded a video clip (.mpeg) and have a few questions regarding this clip.

    1) Windows Explorer indicates the clip size to be +170MB. When I played it on a Windows Media Player, the time is shown as 1:26:57 (almost 1.5 hrs.). How can a clip with 1.5 hr. have only 170MB? All my other 1.5-hr video clips have almost 1GB each; and they are only VCD, not SVCD.

    2) I could play only a portion of the downloaded video clip. Why? Is there some kind of secret code to play the entire clip?

    3) I could burn the clip onto a CD but I cannot copy the clip from the CD to another computer.

    Thanks for all you helps.

  2. Most likely the file was not completely downloaded, but the header has the full files information.

Downloaded file are a crapshoot. I find it better to make my own sources. I know what I have to work with and I know that the files will be as good as they can be, because I am in control of the whole process.
