    Did you check Volume control?
double-click on speaker icon in right-bottom corner, Options->Properties->Recording->[OK]. It shouldn't be muted or set to "Mic" - it should be set to device you connected your capture card to.

  3. I tried it but it wont work. When I connect to MIC it works but sound is crap.

I've got onboard sound from Creative and a Gigabyte 7-ZXR motherboard if it helps.

    thx

  4. I have exactly the same problem. I changed over to the VFW drivers and still the same problem. It appears to be a problem with the WDM drivers in XP as I dual booted to a Win98se and everything works as expected. The only positive thing I found is that when running under VFW I can capture at higher than 320 X 240. I have the WinTV PCI and a SBlive. What is going on?

    thx anyway
