Which keyboard layout do you use?

I just switched to dvorak, and it's slow learning thus far.

qwerty board here. i hear that once you get used to the dvorak board its way faster.

I'm the same way, hunt and peck. I actually do use several fingers to do it though. One thing about it is that looking at the keys, I usually don't make too many speeling mistokes.

I have gotten pretty quick with it as well. About 45 WPM. As a software developer, the only thing I can say is...I'm glad I don't get paid by the number of lines of code!

Back on topic....qwerty for me. Although I too have heard that dvorak is quicker.

We have a few keyboard abusers here. Indo's explosive erections have damaged more than one, as well as drywall in the house

Rumor has it that the recent hardware trouble was caused because Will Hay shit his keyboard ....don't know if that one is true though ...

And my pet theory on jeex's disappearance is similar to Will Hay's claimed malfunction - I think jeex accidentally plugged his keyboard directly into his monitor and all this time he thought he was flaming us, he was only flaming himself*. Someone needs to call him and tell him

Well, he had "Will Hay is Gay", "Gay Brigade" and "Shits The Bed" over his avatar. I don't think he'll own up to this one though. Although, after telling us about the bed, we already don't think much of him ....adding the keyboard to it wouldn't matter
