  1. Hey all,

I tried to run DVDInfoPro last nite to check a few ProdiscS03's that have been giving me some read errors in the van.

Well... I installed a new DVDROM / CDRW (secondary IDE) a few months back and this is the first time I've used it with DVDInfoPro.

The DVD (Elby backup of Little Mermaid) displays and reads fine in my TDK external burner

But when I pop the DVD in my DVDROM Drive (Mad Dog 4 in 1) it seems to read it as a CD-R not a DVD. Subsequenty the tests are 'formatted' for a CD not a DVD. (The DVD autoplays just fine and launches my DVD player) Personally I'd like to abuse the DVDRom with tests like this and save the TDK Burner for burning only..

    Anyone else seen this ....

  2. BAsed on some other threads I have read outside of this forum I think may be due to DVDInfoPro's compatibility with certain combo drives.

I downloaded NeroCDSpeed 3.x and that does work fine with my Combo Drive.

How do you like NeroCDSpeed compare to DVDInfoPro?
