Like everyone else on the planet, I'm trying to rip my original Star Wars Laserdiscs to DVD. I work on a Mac, and I'm using a Sony i.Link for the import (into Final Cut Pro). The video looks fine, but the audio is coming in horribly. I completely lose the surround encoding (in fact it ends up pretty uch mono), and everything sounds tinny and out of phase. Is the i.link just a bad box, or might I be doing something wrong? And if the i.Link is a piece of junk, what capture box would you recommend?
Thanks,
