Liteon Recorder Problem

I have just bought a LITEON LVW5001B but DVD+RW's won't play in my Mico Celo DVD player, I understand the recorder records in DVD+VR and I thought these should play ok, the menu on the DVD+RW shows up but it will not play, any idea where I am going wrong?

Check to make sure your set top DVD Player will read and play RW disks... many older ones will not.. and many that do are picky regarding -RW and +RW

I have tried DVD+RW's which I have burnt on my computer and they play find in the DVD player, I have tried DVD+RW's that have been finalised in the Liteon and these will not play, the thumbnails can be seen but not played however the DVD will play on my computer in PowerDVD.

No finalization is required for DVD+RW disc recorded by LVW5001!
