    Anyone have one of these? I just realized the Victor VCR I found here in Japan is pretty much identical to this one. I know the 9800/9900 comes recommended, but what about this one?

    *edit* BTW, if anyone can translate that with their browser, please tell me what it says. My japanese language support on my computer don't work.

    Absolutely. I'd buy it without a second thought. I'd like another one myself, but anything more than $150-200 total is outside my video budget now. I actually need a good PAL machine more than anything else.

    If this is the Japanese model, just be aware IRE may differ.
