  1. I am having big trouble with dvdshrink
It worked fine for a while then started to freeze during the analisis or encoding faze and wouldn't work anymore without the freeze.
After a format it worked fine again for a week or so, then it started freezing again I tried a successfull restore and it still freezes.
Decided to try using dvdecrypter to encode to the HD then use dvdshrink to shrink but dvdshrink carn't read the iso file created by dvddecrypter.
Have looked for a tutorial dvdecrypter / dvdshrink /nero but carnt find one the bit i need is when dvdshrink looks at the HD for the files.

Any suggestions on fixing the freezing problem would be even better as i think dvdshrink is a great program when it works.
    System XP
    P-4 3.0 / Pioneer dvdr-107d
    500+ ram / 120 gig HD partitioned

    Any advice appreaciated. Thanks all...

I use DVD2ONE which in my opinion does a better job than DVDShrink.

Although I have used DVDShrink and never had it CRASH on me so something with your system is not just "right".

Have to toss my vote for DVD2one also, it seems to produce better results "For My Eyes Only", and faster (Variable mode) using DVDDecrypter to rip than DVDShrink. But in reality the difference is marginal and DVDShrink is free. That damned DVDShrink which won't run in 98Lite (sleek or micro, all versions of DVDShrink above 2.xx) environment is my major gripe, which forced me to DVD2one.
