This is my first post so go easy on me. Ok strange request but hope someone can help. I have some VCD that are NTSC format but when i play them on my tele the picture is in colour but is flickering, so i assume that my tele cant handle 30 fps or 25 which ever way round it is. What i would like to know is if I run the signal through my video recorder that can play ntsc vids will it convert the signal and be ok. Heres hoping (i dont really want to buy a new tele)

Sorry...
Most VCRs do play PAL/NTSC but they don't convert the signal, a NTSC tape is played at it's 29,97 framerate.
I'm pretty sure that your VCR won't convert the signal from you DVD/VCD player...
However you could get a converter.
But they cost about 90-100$ here in Sweden (About 900-1000 SKR is the current pricerange I believe)
