  1. Hi,
A friend wants to send me a holyday dvd image but the size is 4.29 GB splitted in several rar file to send it to my personal ftp server.

The problem is that I can't uncompress the image because my hard dissk is in FAT32.

So is there a solution to uncompress a > 4 GB file on a fat 32 disk ?

    Thx.

  4. Ok, but I have one question.

If I convert my HD to NTFS when it has datas stored, I've read on several articles that the NTFS "table of contents" is stored at the end of datas (so in my case in the middle of the disk) instead at the beginning of the partition.

Is it true and does it affect performances ? (I can't copy the datas to my other hard disk because i'ts too small to store them).

Another question: is the convertion is safe when the disk is managed by MaxBlast Ez-Bios ?
