  1. OK so im having a problem capturing with Adobe Premiere Prothe. Whenever i try to capture the footage from my cam (Sony DSR-PD170), i get audio pops and cracks, but no skipped frames or anything wrong with the video, just the audio.There are no pops and cracks when you play the footage back on my camera or hooked up to a tv. I am running a Sony Vaio with 42 gb of free space and 1 gb of ram, so i didn't think memory was a problem. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Load the video into Gold Wave. Select Effects=>Filter=>Pops/Clicks=> Presets=>select your prefernce. Save as a wave file.

  3. Well, tried the trial version of Goldwave, and unfortuentlu, the pops and cracks still occured. Any other reccomendations?

    This is a known issue with adobe premiere. You should not have to edit the pops out. There is a way to capture without all the pops and cracks. I do not know how to solve this but I know it is a known issue with premiere. I suggest you go to the adobe premiere forums and look for the answer there.
