I have just purchased a SATA WD 120GB HDD to go with my currant Samsung 120GB IDE HDD. What I would like to know is what is the best configuration for the SATA, it's primary purpose is for Video editing etc.
Do I install a fresh copy of Windows with only the Video editing software on or do I just use it for storage?
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated?
Thanks
Jon

partition both drives. dual boot from one of them. windows and video stuff only on one partition. anytime i work video and move information i move to a different drive, not from drive to same drive, even a different partition.
