I'm trying to backup Barbershop 2 and I'm using DVD Shrink 3.0 and it does not shrink it down enough to fit on a dvdr. Any suggestions on how to get it smaller. I've cut down on as much audio as I can and would like to to know how to compress the video manually instead of how it does it automatically. I have not used DVD Shrink 3.0 before and I'm stuck. The file is at 4.4g and would like it to be 4.3g. Any help is appreciated.

You could compress it a little.
By doing this, you shouldn't notice any loss in quality. -
Have you taken out one of the movies? It contains both widescreen and fullscreen. I took out the fullscreen and previews, and it fits at like 80%.

In the window that says STREAMS, the listings there are:
NO COMPRESSION
AUTOMATIC
RATIO
STILL PICTURES -

I'm serious, the 3.0 beta version that I have says nothing about a manual choice.

I downloaded the 3.17 version and I see how to switch to the manual way but I'm still unable to get it smaller than 4.46g.

How big is the main movie vob set? If it is more than 6G, then there's the fullscreen and another version. Try checking with the reauthor mode. You'll see 2 main movies. That's why it won't automatically shrink to a usable size. I used dvdremake to remove one of them.
