I can easily do Main Movie only using reauthor in DVDshrink but each DVD has just 2 30min episodes each plus some bonus material.
I'd like to try and get both DVD's on the -R complete and somehow choose which "DVD" on the -R is to be played.
My Pioneer DV266 allows me to see all the "titles" on a DVD and choose where to jump in at. Hopefully this will negate the need to make a master still at the beginning.
Hopefully the required apps are free.
I've only ever used Shrink so my knowlede of other apps is zero.
Thanks for your time.

With reauthor/movie only, it's possible
With original menus, not possibleBlah, blah, blah -
It's not IMPOSSIBLE, it's just IMPRACTICAL... and a huge pain in the ass.
There exists, sadly, no easy way to do what you want.

Check DvdReMake Pro. http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_merge1.php - of course it is not exactly what you need but may be this guide will give you a hint.

It is impossible to put more than one ripped movie on a single DVD without reauthoring. This has been discussed many times, and the basic conclusion is that file structure (VIDEO_TS folder) prevents it. Only a single VIDEO_TS can be in the root folder, and DVDs do not deal with sub folders beyond that.

I've only started playing with the adding feature in DRM a few days ago but I've already managed to join Star Wars Episodes 1 & 2 together and keep all original menu/chapter/audio/subs menu's
after adding the VTs, all I have done is pinched a button from the main menu to jump between the root menu's of each movie and it works as if you were swapping the DVD's. Now I know what to do it takes me less than 10 minutes to do all the editing and it could be quicker if options were changed slightly
Merging Guide
I guess you could use this idea for a few series DVD's due to them having similar structures and also for DVD's with simple navigation
as for mixing 2 completely different DVD's, I guess you could do it with some if you merged the 2 VIDEO_TS and then compensated the commands throughout the 2nd DVD
so I wouldn't say it's impossible -
Why is it different when doing multiple Star Wars DVD's compared to 2 unrelated movies ?
The Star Wars DVD's are just seperate as 2 unrelated DVD's.
Looking promising! -
It's not free but InterVideo DVDcopy does a good job.
You get a free 15 day trial to see if this is what you want to do.
Take a look at this 2 movies in 1 with everything?
