  1. Heya,

I was wondering if anyone could suggest me some Inkjet Printable DVDs to purchase? Right now I'm using the Prodisc's Inkjet Printable (which could be printed until the hub), but I don't know which DVD to buy for the one that doesn't have the printing range to the hub (most older DVDs have this kind of print out). Here's a sample below.

Another question is when I use the Epson Print CD software and set the inner diameter of the printed DVD to 20mm while the outer diameter to 117mm, is this the right settings?

    Thanks!

  2. I use Ritek printables for the regular labels(43cc), silver ProDisc for special holograph labels(33cc), and the white ProDisc for the print to hub(23cc). I bought the Ritek a few months ago and never had a problem with them. I have read lately on the board that people have been having problems with them.

    I use Maxell with a 41mm center.

    Verbatims have a 36mm center.

Taiyo Yudens have a 44mm center.

Maxell has the better surface, then Verbatim, lastly, Taiyo Yuden. Prodisc is somewhere between Verbatim and Maxell, in printout quality, and color retention.

    No, Dont bother to scan....
Just either print title on disk or design my own label if non of the other cover sites have one....
I hate silver lablels smacks of lack of imagination....

On the disks. Ritek G04 Printables.
Set at 37/119 and my full face ones at 22/119
    Not bothered by small problems...

  8. Seems like everyone has slightly different settings for the Prodisc whites. I use 23mm, 119mm. It's important to set the calibration properly in the Epson Print CD program. Even an offset of 0.1 mm off can lead to one side with a small unprinted edge.

  9. Wow, don't I feel like a pretty big toolbox for not noticing this thread before posting my "Inkjet Printable Media" one.

Anyone know of any deals on the Prodisc or Ritek printables?
Or just what a good price might be?

I use both the white printable and silver printable dvd-rs and they're nice. If you want true print-to-the-hub style, go with the BeAll White printables. I'll try to upload a sample scan of a printed dvd
