Hi,
I'd like to burn many of my MP3s and Audio CDīs on DVD+-R disc playable on standalone DVDplayer. What is the best way ?
I tried MyMP3 PRO5 (but there is PCM audio possibility only, which means only about 5 hours of music). I would like to use MPEG1,2 or AC3 audio compression. I also tried Audio DVD Creator, but with this program itīs not possible use chapters for every album with subchapter for tracks ....
Any good, useful and effective ideas ?
Many thanx
Peter

Look over <--- there in: How To> Author> How to Author a Complex DVD > Audio Compilations on DVD Guide. Good Luck.

Yea, I read this HOW TO article, but this procedure seems to me little complicated. Does anyone know about more complex solution ?
Thanx

Sorry, the method on the left is to complicated for you and you want a more complex method ?

Easiest n Best way that i know of without any fuss is to do what I do, especially if the Help Files R to complicated for U n Me....
I can put from 40 to 52 Full MP3 Albums on a DVD-R..(that's ONLY MP3s)
then I take another blang DVD-R n Put my Music CDs or Folders on it....
One for Music = CDA files...other for MP3 files....Why Complicate things by trying to put both on a DVD-R/DVD+R if you find it diffecult to follow...
Hope I've help...(I'm a Newbie to when it comes to DVDs n find lots of it hard just like U) Don't Complicate it!!....Take Care, Good Luck..I Am Me, You Are You. There's Only One Me, There's Only One You. I Am Unique, So Are You.

MrScarecrow, your method will not result in a DVD that will not play on a set-top DVD player. You are just creating a data dvd.
I used creator and I am not sure what you mean by chapters and subchapters. I don't like it for 2 reasons. One is that it is extremely slow encoding from mp3. It took 15 hours to do one dvd. The other really has to do with my player. It can shuffle a data CD with mp3s, but not the audio DVD. It just plays from the beginning, in order. Also with mp3/data CDs, my player will display the name of the tune. -
The easist way to have your mp3s on dvd is to burn all your mp3s to dvdr as data files(back ups.) Then go <-------- and search though the DVD Player List and pick you out one that plays mp3s from dvd (like the Cyberhome & Apex brands.) Then go buy one. Simple.
If you don't want to change your files, change your player. -

I saw and read both articles, but itīs not user friendly solution, not work with different kinds of music files, need convertors, lots of time to prepare compilation etc ....
I know about one very very good program, MyMP3 PRO v5 from Steinberg (Pinnacle) but it has one big big big fault - it burns music on DVD in PCM audio format only - which means only about 5 hours of music instead of dozens hours with AC3 (mpeg)....
Does anyone know about similar software which can burn audio in AC3(mpeg) format and itīs possible to jump between albums and tracks during play on my standalone DVD player ??? (my SONY DVD player canīt play DATA DVD with mp3s)
Thanx -
