Tayio Yuden for $1.20 at NewEgg

Just received a 50pk of Samsung DVD+R 4x from newegg.

DVDdecrypter says they are YUDEN, which I assume are Tayio Yuden.

The DVD+Rs pruchased from newegg are marked with samsung. DVD ID is TY!

I don't care who labels them, just the manufacturer who makes 'em!

These Samsung are ID coded as Yuden000T01 Media.

With exception to the large white text on the upper half of the DVD, they look and burn identical to the Taiyo Yuden DVD's I purchased from RIMA.com last month!

It is so much of a GOOD THING, that Newegg has completely SOLD OUT their lot!

I purchased 8, 50 packs of these Samsung last week. I've been trying to purchase more of these since that time!

Taiyo Yuden with the Yuden ID code is damn good DVD media! Besides Verbatim DatalifePlus, I can't think of any media in this price range that gives such consistant high quality dyes.

So far, I've burned 65 of these Samsungs AT 8X SPEED with my Plextor 708A. NOT ONE of these Samsung DVDs has reported an error at 8X speed!

I saw they were sold out, but I thought was wierd is they don't list the media anymore. Did they quit selling it? Will they ever get anymore?
