I had no idea something like this was out.
I went to Best Buy this morning to get some DVD+Rs and saw this pack.
It has:
8x DVD+Rs (8discs)
DVD+R DL (1 Disc)
DVD+RW (1 disc)
It was $29.99, but I got it for $10 with some old store credit.
I am going to try out the DVD+R DL today to see how it works out.

saw the same thing when I was in Best Buy today. I was surprised they had any +DL disks in stock since all the geniuses on this site that have been knocking DL from day one kept saying it will be until the end of June before you'll see any DL disks. They're right again, heh.
Price is too high for me to jump on that though. Even if those other Verbatim 9 disks are MCC manufactured, count them as $2 a disk, and you're still paying $10 for the DL disk. Can't wait to see the pack spindles for DL in Best Buy though. -
My two cents: Verbatim brand products suck. If i had a nickle for every cd-r that gave me CRC errors, i could retire.
