  1. Have some VCD discs that i would like to transfer to DVD. My problem is i can't play the in anything but my PC. When i hook the i-link cable from my PC to my standalone the message i get on my PC is "New hardware found Sony RDR-GX7 so it knows what i'm hooking up to. When i set my recorder to the proper input select i don't get anything coming through to record. Any help would be great and thanks.

  2. If you PC has a DVD Burner you can use various programs to 'copy' the VCD contents down to your PC and then burn the contents back to new DVD's... I did that about 2 months back and was able to put 3 or 4 VCD's on one DVD with nice menus, etc.

Try ISO Buster... it was recommended to me by several users.

  3. Thanks for the help but really didn't want to get involved with new software but this looks like a pretty good program so i'll give it a try. However my original question still remains. Thanks all.
