Anybody know where I can upload a 175mb file. looking for free storage space. Its a video of storm that was in my area the other day. Want to share it w/ friends and family. Heres a picture from the storm.

I have the space for it, but f'all if I know how to get you started. I haven't had much time to read up on how my "site" operates or how to set it up. I have gotten as far as creating a pw protected folder you can use... but still reading up on how you can get your file there...
If you have some pointers, I'll trade you the space (on a temporary basis)

Most sites have some sort of ftp upload or browser base uploading. thats about all I know, I may just run an ftp server for a few days and send people a link or something.

Well it never touched down, it just sat and hovered slowly for a few minutes and then it was gone. That picture is about 5 miles north of it , my video is from the south side about 1 mile away.

Hmm... I think that's a bit too big for my website.

Let's see, though, wouldn't Bit Torrent allow you to P2P it? Then all you'd need is an initial hypertext link to get you started.

Damn... how many pairs of underwear did you go through?

What's the file format? If its MPEG... why not convert it to a wmv file at the 56 to 100k format... that will make it quite smaller and still stream nicely.
