When it says that, it's almost always because the file is "in use." Make absolutely sure that the file isn't open in some other application. Rebooting your computer ought to do it for sure.

    Go to the site below:

    http://www.nanomessiah.com/software/

Scroll down to the HeadAC3he box and save to file the libmmd.dll, the azid.dll..and all the remaining .dll's that suit your processor and put the files into the HeadAC3he folder.

Unfortunately the direct link to Dark Avengers site no longer seems to work.

So you've got an AVI with AC3 audio. What are you trying to convert the file to (in the end) ?

If you want to put it onto a DVD, you might like to have a look at this guide or this guide.
    If in doubt, Google it.

OK. Try this guide if you wish to put the entire movie on 1 CD, or try the guies section if you wish to convert to standard compliant VCDs.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Because you've got AC3 audio, you'll need to save this out to a WAV using virtualdub, then specify the WAV file as your audio source.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  15. No you don't need to convert to WAV first, Headac3he will take AC3 files directly (thus the name). If the audio was correctly demuxed, and wasn't borked from the beginning, it should work fine. I am betting that the audio stream is screwed up.

Try Ripping an AC3 stream off of any regular DVD first (check any DVDecrypter guide here or on www.doom9.org ) then convert it with Headac3he as a test. That way you can tell if it is your install or your source file.

Did you read the whole thread ?

My response regarding saving out to WAV was for if the poster was going to follow the guide I linked to. If HeadACHe ain't working, then saving out to WAV and letting TMPGEnc with toolame and ssrc as plugins is a viable alternative
    If in doubt, Google it.
