    I got a Toshiba S310V which came from United states and as it is easy to understand only reads R1 films. I live in Europe and all films are R2.

    I tried the software of the frenc guys'.. but still do not work.!?!
    What will I do? Help please

    first thing, did you check the dvd player list?

    second thing, as it's a R1 model it may not be hackable. american equipment is well known for not working with non american formats.
