  1. Hey guys, can you tell me what program to use to encode a mpg (svcd) file to dvd. i tried tmpgenc but its doesnt regonize the format?? or a link to a guide would be great thx guys
    AMD 2200+ (1.83ghz), 512DDR PC2700 (333mhz)
    160GB Hitachi 7,200rpm 1mb cache, 80GB Western Digital/7,200rpm HD
    ATI Radeon 9600xt 128mb 8x, KT4 Ultra FSB 333 AGP 8X/ D bracket
    DVD+R/DVD+RW/CD-r/CD-RW,Antec Plus 1000 Case with lights

    try splitting your mpeg from the svcd into a d2v and mpa with dvd2avi. The load the d2v into tmpgenc as the vid and mpa as the audio and encode.

    hehe np

    but do note that sometimes tmpgenc won't take the d2v for whatever reason. It would say unsupported or something for me so I have to restart the comp and keep trying until it goes through. I'm still trying to figure out what's with the inconsistency of the program but I find this method better than loading the mpeg-2 straight into it
