I have a Sony DCR-HC14E Dv camera and I just cannot figure out how to get the video from the tape in the cam onto the pc. I have a USB cable which I have plugged in and installed *i hope* with the driver supplied. Also, I have installed Picture Package and imageMixer which were supplied on a disc too. The manual mentions nothing about getting the vids from the cam to the pc (which I find ridiculas). As far as I can tell the cam is currently not installed. Help!

also known as an IEEE1394 connector.
I quickly googled your cam, seems it has a 4 pin firewire connector so you're in luck. -
