    Does anybody have any experience with this recorder ??? I saw it on eCost.com for $389.99 . That would be great deal for recorder with hard drive... but is it any good ? I couldn't find any comments.

    Hey it got zoom and remote instant recording but not going into that discussion . The JVC DR-MH30 probably will have slightly better picture quality (and TBC etc.) but price of Sharp is unbeatable at this point (until Toshiba perhaps comes out with RD-XS53 in October).

    It seems Sharp like JVC can also playback PAL but no one confirmed this yet. Would be interesting to know since pretty useful to me.
