  1. So I'm trying to do something "simple" and the universe is against me.

I have a .m2v and .mp2 files, I'm making a SVCD. I want a command line option for multiplexing the them into a *valid* SVCD.mpg.

I've tried mplex, but it does not create valid SVCDs, they require autopadding. (fyi mplex is meant for multiplexing Tivo made .m1v/.m2v which are not the same as the ones created by apps like CCE, Tmpgenc, and Quenc)

I dont want to use tmpgenc for 2 reasons, 1) I want it to be command line driven. 2) I want to use all free apps.

so if you know an app that can multiplex .m2v and .mp2 into a valid SVCD mpg, please let me know.

Womble MPEG-VCR does it. I use this when TMPGENC fails.
