Hi there, hope someone can help, I have a tosh sd110e dvd player, and am trying to play burnt vcd's on it. I do not have any comercial vcd's to try. Firstly, the player does not fully support cd-r, but seems to support cd-rw fine, have made some audio cd's on white top diskplanet @ samsung, that work fine no others will work, and all audio on cd-rw works fine. ok so i try and create a vcd or an xvcd using nero 5.5.4.0, on sony cd-rw(that work fine for audio) and the dvd player seems to spin up ok, then just displays please check disk. Looking at the compatibility list, it shows that the previous model the sd-100e works ok with cd-rw, and vcd, xvcd. To make this all worse my parents have purchased a SD-210E which looks physically identical, the only diference is that there is a PBC option in the setup menus, and this will play my burnt vcd/xvcd's (as well as svcds not tried xsvcd yet)fine. Does anyone know of a solution to get the sd110e to play vcd's
