I just purchased a 250gb maxtor 7200rpm hard drive from compusa for $130 with no rebates.
Here are my drives:
60gb
80gb
175gb
200gb
200gb
250gb
------
total = 965gb
can anyone else match up?

Never enough it seems.

I have 200GB, one 120Gb for Windows and one 80GB for Mandrake Linux.

It's not the size, but how you use it 8)

Not to some people it seems. They must compensate, no matter what what others may say.

Some dude on this forum has twin 3 Gigahertz XEONs with 2 TB of Hard Drive space & 2 Gigs of mushkin RAM. I can't recall his handle, though. I personally have 200 Gigs of HD space, but my RAM is twice as big as yours.

It wasn't long ago when they said 8GB was huge in a new PC and we would never fill it up.
A couple of years and 500GB will probably be an entry level drive. -
320G total; 160 RAID0, 80 Boot, 80 Backup. It's enough for me. I don't really need the RAID setup, but I've never gotten around to splitting it to two seperate drives. (Got a ADVC-100, gave up video board captures.)

300gb on this pent 4 2.4 pc & 100 gb on pent 933 pc.

While I must admit I am jealous -- this is not the appropriate venue for exposing your manhood, no matter how huge. Besides the file was just too damn big! One more time and you're out of here. -
wow, it's so big it's gone over the 50KB limit and won't display!
