Our house backs against an arroyo (ditch) and there's about 100 yards to the houses behind us. One summer I was putting in red concrete cobblestones around the pool and this horrendous dust devil came whipping down the arroyo, almost lifted me off my feet, and pretty much ruined the day's work because of the dirt and debris it had deposited on the surface of the fresh concrete
