  1. have been trying to rip a DVD, that is 1Hr 50mins long, but i keep getting two error messages.

1, I am try to get the movie to fit on a 80min Cd. I click the "whole Button" so it will rip the whole movie, but when Set the bitrate at 625, which says it is below 697MB, which I need it to do. it says it is not VCD Compliant, but if I set it between 650-1150 it won't fit on the CD, but it is VCd Compliant.

2, when I try to rip the movie, it will stop after 46 mins, and I get this error message.

"Video and Bitrate Full Check Rate control Pad Min And Start Or Increase Audio Bitrate Or Decrease Video Bitrate."

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks In advance...

I don't know if this will help or not...but maybe this guide:

    http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=dvdrip&name=vcd

    will help...

but when Set the bitrate at 625
Pretty sure that the min video bitrate for VCD is 1150, but could be wrong...

    just a thought

You're right. The spec calls for a constant bitrate of 1150.

If I wanted a 1h50min DVD on a single CD-R , I would Rip the DVD to an AVI File. Then convert the AVI to a one disc VCD using THIS GUIDE .
