How do I access c: drive with XP, just installed XP, wanted to install some vidio proggies, but cant access anything. Always get access is denied!!!!

Check your security situation. Since XP is supposed to be similar to Windows 2000, you probably need Administrator's rights or whatever XP calls it. Under the NTFS file system, you can assign permissions to access, read, delete files and folders etc.
