  1. hi just got a sony ericsson p800 and its supposed to play mpg4 on it but so far every format i have tryed failed, is ther a mpg4 format that will work or are all mpg4 formats the same? what tool(s) do i use and what template for that tool do i need to use please.

  2. Have you got the resolution of the video correct for it? Look in the manual to find out what the maximum resolution allowable is.

    All MPEG-4 streams should be decompressable by any other MPEG-4 player. WMV I'm not too sure about. DivX is probably your best bet. What format and resolution have you been trying with?

    I don't own this phone, just took a quick look on the Internet to see what it was all about.

    the mp4 format has to be quite specific on some phones....

    I had best success with real video V8, using helix producer. produced something that was watchable, but not brilliant.

    Try the Nokia MultiMedia Converter available at Nokias developer site. It can convert most video formats to 3gp that P800 reads nicely!
