  1. I've been following the OGM to SVCD easy Guide for my SVCD movies I've been making except I used SubResync in VobSub to convert the idx/sub subtitles to WinSubMux format for my SVCD's. Now I'm gonna start convert other ogm's I have to burn to DVD+R's using the new DVD burner I got. I'm still following the guide except changing SVCD formats to DVD format i.e. converting audio to AC3, using "DVD. NTSC" in TMPGenc's Project Wizard, etc.. Now I'd please like to know how to make the dvd with the idx/sub and m2v + 2 ac3 files I got. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

One of the easiest ways is to use the Author function in IfoEdit and mux the M2V,AC2 and Sup files (note you'll need to convert the idx/sub files to sup files for Ifoedit to use them - see the tools section or doom9 tools section).

  3. I tried IfoEdit today, but the video plays in and out of sync (Like it starts out fine but after a while the video plays fast for a sec, then plays normally, but the audio is outta sync then the video plays slow and it goes back into sync, or visa versa). I converted to a standard NTSC DVD m2v with 48000hz ac3's. I'd like to know if there's any other program I can use for my sup(or idx/sub)+m2v+ac3's I got?

There is nothing else I know of that's freeware - but you could try downloading authoring packages (demo's) such as TMPGEnc author - if the same happens again (Ie sync problems) then I suggest that it's probably your source that's wrong rather then the author package.

  5. I think I might be doing something wrong. When I made my SVCD's before, and I muxed the mp2's and m2v with TMPGenc, I got some buffer underflow error. I never worried about it 'cause my SVCD's played fine on my APEX AD-1500. Does this have something to do with IFOedit not burning my DVD right, and if it is how can I fix it? Thanks in advance.
