hi newbie after help

hi im after some help i have just got dvd burner,and have been told to avi,or divx movies are good quality is there a way i can put these files onto a dvd as some of them come in 2 parts ie.avi 1,avi2 would be very gratfull for help and its it easy to do.

1st - read the guides section.

Second - look through the tools section and get yourself an authoring app and an editing app. Open the .avi using the editing app and save it as MPEG. Then author to generate DVD files. Then burn.

Third - Read Guides section (upper left of screen).

All the answers are there, you just need to find them. In addition to the guides section, use the search feature to find answers to your questions. You'll find that most questions about problems a noob like yourself will encounter have already been asked and answered a thousand times over on these forums.
