I need the special abilities of OSeX on a DVD I'm trying to rip. Its an audio book collection with every Sherlock Holmes book ever written (63 hours worth of mind-bending mystery).

Okay, so it comes as a DVD-Video disc complete with menus to navigate to each different book and such, which is nice, but not what I want. I want to rip the audio from the book, and break each chapter into its own file. Okay, so thats easy, OSeX can do it. So, I load the DVD, and fire up OSeX. It starts, the icon begins to bounce, then stops. I do a few more tests, and every time that it sees the DVD, OSeX crashes. Damn. So, I start up MtR. That fails to rip the DVD also. Same for DVD Backup. So, maybe there's something funny with the DVD. DVD Player disagrees, as do all of my standalone players. This isn't a new sort of copy protection, as the disc is a DVD-R (small shop, can't afford a press I suppose).

Anyone have a suggestion? (Or an older version of OSeX I could try?)
If it isn't broken, take it apart and find out why.

With help that good, luck is irrelevant. Thanks. It worked perfectly. 8)
