I need help from someone who is smarter at this game than I am. I recently purchased an internal burner that I mounted in an external IDE case and attached it to my notebook through the USB jack. My specifications are as follows:

Notebook:
Toshiba Satellite A15S 1292
Mobile Intel Celeron CPU 2.40 GHz
496 MB of RAM
Internal DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive
Notebook equipped with USB 2.0

Internal Burner:
Sony DRU-530A

External IDE Case:
Bytecc ME-320U2F (However, my invoice lists the brand as Welland.)

Software Used:
Ripping: DVD Decrypter
Encoding: DVD2ONE and/or DVD Shrink
Burning: Prassi PrimoDVD 2.0

The ripping and encoding process goes off without a hitch. However, when I try to burn, Prassi PrimoDVD only recognizes the internal CD-RW mounted in the notebook. It does not recognize the external drive. I have no problem using the external drive at any other time. The notebook recognizes the external drive for other stuff and plays discs that I put in the drive. It's just that Prassi PrimoDVD won't recognize that there's another drive besides the one mounted in the notebook.

One thing to consider is that I'm extremely new to the DVD backup scene. I know a little, but not a lot, about the programs I'm using. I know the least about Prassi PrimoDVD. Is there a way to force Prassi PrimoDVD to recognize the external drive? Like maybe I could load it in the program? Maybe something in the Options setting? I'm sure that someone has come across this problem at sometime. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
