Newbie tried to trim about 5 minutes from a .vob file using mpeg2cut. Got the new clip to play fine (albeit with the commentary) using PowerDVD on my PC, but when I burned it to disc using TMPG DVD Author and put it in my APEX, I get the video but no sound. Anyone know a workaround or the best way to trim a clip?

Physically chopping up a VOB is never a good idea. You can try VOBrator to remove extraneous video from a VOB.
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...
