is this a scam? last time i checked, verbatim were overpriced junk except the mitsubishi chemical one?
would this be better than ritek or prodisk? $40 for verbatim media seems a little bit unplausible...

Pricewatch lists shipping as part of the price and rightly so because most companies make a profit off shipping\handling and therefore that should just go into the whole cost.
For example. lets say I make a post saying:
Just found a great deal on allmediaoutlet, Taiyo Yuden DVD-Rs 1.57 each! (yes I know this is not that great of a deal)
They come in ten packs 15.70 each. However, to ship to New York via ground costs $6.35. Those less than a dollar discs are suddenly 2.20 each. Doesn't have the same impact does it. And every ten pack you buy adds about a dollar to shipping. Don't get me wrong, allmediaoutlet is a great store, but if you don't mention shipping (unless its free), your price quote is worthless and misleading, especially when someone is going for a super cheap deal. Similarly, especially if I buy here in New York City, sales tax is a big factor. For example, a 100 Memorex DVD+Rs for $100 after $100 instant rebate suddenly turns into $117.00 final cost after tax! For an extra $17 dollars, maybe you should just shop online. -
Damn, what a shady site!. I wouldn't shop there if they were $10 for a 100! The total comes to $50 btw.

Shady! I believe the $50 is for the membership only then you have to pay for the product plus shipping and how knows what else. This site should be report to the internet scam squad.
