  1. I wanna load a mpeg-2 in tmpgenc and I don't want to install sticky's mpeg-2 codec caz it messes a few things up. Any suggestions ?[/url]

    If you want to import mpeg2 into TMPGenc you need to frameserve using dvd2avi. If you follow any one of the guides that uses TMPGenc as an encoder, then it will tell you how. Importing mpeg2 directly into TMPGenc is a very bad idea. As you have noticed it requires that an mpeg2 codec be installed, and it also uses direct show filters to access it, which is horribly unstable for encoding. Just use dvd2avi.
