I've tried to capture an 18 minute video, that has been edited with a S-VHS VCR, and the sound came out stuttering. The sound is OK most of the time, but the "stutters" three or four times every minute. The really strange thing is the the sound STILL stutters when I change the
audio track to something else, and even when I convert it to different formats.
I have a Pinnacle card, which works fine for other captures (that is, from video tape that has NOT been edited, and DVD's.) I strongly suspect that it has to do with the way the VHS tape has been edited. The captured picture sometimes "rolls" slightly after an edit, but looks fine otherwise. Dropped frames are not more than usual (2 or 3 in 18 minutes).
Thankful for any help!
Mikael
