I know that vegas has a HD option (1280X720 HD) when editing video, but what are some of the other programs that can do this too. I know that Premiere Pro has a wide screen option, but I'm a little confused if this is true HD or not.

I would guess that the Premiere Pro widescreen is just 16:9 support, and not HD support.

i think you need expensive software like pinnacle edition or final cut pro.
