I am trying to convert a .mov file to VCD. Since upgrading my Quicktime Pro to the latest version, the Toast VCD Export option is missing. The closest optiion I seem to see is convert to Mpeg4. First of all can a Mpeg4 be burnt to a VCD or DVD-r, so I can play it in a stand alone DVD player? Finally, is there a way to import the Toast VCD Option to the QT menu? Sorry for so many questions.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers, Carol

However, if you're using an older version of Toast and the plug-in disappeared, just reinstall Toast.

You can't play MPEG4 video on most DVD players. The VideoCD export option, like Serbian mentioned, is no longer supported with Toast 6.x. Instead, put Toast 6.x in Video mode, choose 'VideoCD' in the left side column, and drag your QuickTime-compatible files onto its window, and it will handle the conversion. The new encoder shipped with Toast 6.x is much faster and much, much higher quality than the QT plugin available with Toast 5.x.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."
