Movie Burning on PS2

Hi,

I am trying to copy all my movies to take them with me to a season in Greece for the summer.

I bought a LG 4x burner.

My mate copied me a movie with Arita Pink tops and they worked fine on my PS2. So i went and bought some.

But when i copy the movie and burn it they dont work on my PS2!
Another but is on the same media if i burn a MPEG i have downloaded they work fine on my PS2!!

They are a little different, would this throw it off?

Could anyone recomend some media i can use which will be ok for PS2?
And i live in the UK

Not had a problem with Ritek -r GO4 printables in my PS2

Not sure what kind you have, but my PS2 hates +R media. I have much better luck with -R media.
