THey say it's supposed to clean up the image from VHS to DVD, which if this is true...I may pick it up. But at $129, I want to make sure it's not just a plastic box with LED's inside and nothing more......
Anybody out there tried it, or heard about it's performance???

By clean up it means that macrovision issues and lack of brightness
issues are removed. For ordinary video that is not copyprotected, there
is little point in owning one.
Sima is a good brand but their GoDVD is a low-end product. You
would be better off with their TBC that includes color correction, if backing
up macrovision enabled videos.
