I got all those in my house right now. and is in the middle of testing them to see which one I wanna keep. if anyone is interested I'll post a full review of these device somewhere.

Yes, definitely post your results.

I'd suggest using a couple of different capture programs like avi_io. try doing long captures (>2hrs) to see how stable the drivers are.

It would be great if you could make some short vcd,svcd samples(about 10 MB each) from a good source to compare...I have some webspace over for it.

Yes, I'm very interested. I'm currently looking for a suitable capture card for my VHS tapes and would like to get one that captures mpeg2 in SVCD format without requiring rendering.

Yes, absolutely, please post your findings! There are always lots of questions about this, and an objective side-by-side comparison would be a huge help. I have a PV256T and I would be really interested in seeing how it compares to others.
