I have a DVD writer burning both standards. I have a player supporting both standards.
Both play fine, should I go for + or - ?
I read that DVD+R/W has some "better" features than DVD-R/W such as lossless linking and both CAV and CLV writing, but I do not know what this means. Is one more reliable over time than the other one ??
I noticed that DVD-R is cheaper than DVD+R. Thanks.

The argument that always ends it as far as I am concerned: DVD-R is supported by the DVD Consortium, and Toshiba.
DVD+R for me all the way. -
In my opinion....it really only makes a difference if you are talking about buying a DVD Recorder....not an already purchased computer DVD Burner.
When talking about burners....as in your case....go for price but don't skimp on quality.
My two cents....
